Ezekiel’s Journey is a fundraiser for Mountain Area Pregnancy Services dedicated to Ezekiel, the son of Nathanael and Kaytlin Morgan. Ezekiel was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and passed away shortly after birth in 2021.
During that difficult experience, MAPS walked alongside the Morgan family. Through the Eva’s Footprints Perinatal Hospice program, the Morgans received love, support, and guidance which enabled Nathanael and Kaytlin to care for their son during his short journey on earth.
The Morgans stated, “MAPS allowed us to come in for many ultrasounds and they saved pictures and videos of our son for us to take home. We were given a stuffed animal with Ezekiel's recorded heartbeat and they gave us books to help us process this journey. Our oldest son was gifted books from MAPS to help him cope with the loss of his brother. On top of maternity photos and family pictures on the day of delivery, we were granted many free hours of grief counseling after Ezekiel passed away.”
All proceeds from Ezekiel’s Journey benefit MAPS so that other families receiving a life-limiting diagnosis can have the same compassionate support and care that the Morgans received through Eva’s Footprints.
